I always have a shell holder on my stock. This way I always have extra shells with my gun. Watched my dad who had an odd caliber (257 Roberts Long Action) get to the woods one time and realize he forgot his shell. Not a round that you could just run to the locale mom and pop shop in the country and pick up. That's not an odd caliber.
