When my daughter was young and hunting with me I came to the point where I realized this was alot about her wanting to spend some time with her dad and not so much about killing deer. As she got older it got more to do with killing deer and she started sitting by herself and stacking up bucks. For me it was not an issue because working shift work made it possible for me to hunt for me during the week, but weekends and holidays it was all about us enjoying time together. Enjoy the time together because it will not be long and you will be hunting for yourself and by yourself alot more than you want to......
