I took my friend hunting for his second time. He is a student at Auburn and I introduced him to hunting two weeks ago. He has already killed 2 bucks. His first was a small 8, and his next one was one of the biggest 6 points I've seen come off of our land. I wanted to sit on the ground, because I've never done that deer hunting. I knew of a nice area to try out, but I had never sat there. Little did I know how quick this hunt would be. We sit down and I rattle a little and within 5 minutes the big 6 comes out of some thick brush. I immediately knew he was a shooter. I thought he was an 8 at first. I told my buddy to shoot and he dropped him. It was an awesome experience and he is hooked like crazy to hunting. The first pic is the spot we were in. The 2nd is my buddy with the buck, and the third is with me. We didn't have anybody to get the both of us in the pic. It's hard for me tell a story through words, but this hunt was amazing. It's soemthing else being up against a tree and eye level with a big buck. We also were nearly trampled by a small 8 point and spike chasing a doe later that day. Great weekend. Buck had a 19.5 inch spread.
