NO GWs are hired on as Lts, jus as officers. There is no corporal rank, just Sgt, Lt, and Capt. You and I have no idea just HOW a transition as to rank would be made and neither do those wanting this change. They just see the change.

I think the problem here is that the field officers are tired of Montgomerys crap and will take any other option than continueing with the status quo. The DPS options is different and therefore looks inviting to dissatisfied officers.

I will say that, in MY experience, Montgomery office has done very little to make life better for the officers over the years. Promise this, promise that....deliver very little. This "change" is the result.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
