I thought all GW were hired in as lieutenants? If they go into DPS, I would assume that they would hired in as troopers like the rest and spend most/all of their career working up to lieutenant. Are the base pay scales that much higher in DPS?
I guess the ones already on the job would have more opportunity to make captain but what about new hires? Maybe they reclass existing GW's as troopers/corporals/sergeants? No need for all them lieutenants in DPS. I realize that GW is kind of a dead end job. I was told that very clearly 28 years ago when I was considering going that route but GW's better be careful what they ask for in this situation. They just might get it.
