For those that have been hunting the last week have yall seen any action. Usually the last weekend is a good one but I am afraid this heat is going to have them held up tight.
Maybe if the deer do not show for me maybe I will get a call to do a little tracking this weekend. Gona have the tracking dog with me just incase.

Haven't been able to go since Sunday, but Sunday was my first day seeing more than one buck, one of which was a good 9 that i took that had been hanging out in deep cover in a creek bottom all year. So i would definitely say they are staring to move a lot more

I hunt near Waverly too and saw 2 different bucks today chasing does. I am talking full on nose to the ground would not let the does run 10 yards from them chasing, lets pray for a great weekend.
