Break out the check book and get you a pair of LL Bean Maine insulated hunting boots. They will keep your feet toasty warm and the gum soles allow you to walk quietly in the woods. My 1st pair lasted me 25 years. Just saying.
Go ahead and buy an extra set of gore-tex/thinsulate inserts and several pairs of wool socks. With two pair of the wool socks my feet are fine on the coldest days. I also have an old old pair of the BURLY LACROSSE 800 grams that have lasted a long time. They are just real bulky for tree stand/lock on climbing for me.
