I've hunted Pike, Crenshaw, Bullock, Covington, Marengo, Greene, Winston, Limestone, Jackson, and Madison. Mostly Jackson and Madison. First off, the people who say Jackson County sucks are out of their minds. But the question is consistency of seeing deer numbers. I think it's hard to say from my experience and I'm biased toward Madison and Jackson. But if I had to pick a place to have a farm right now in Alabama...it would be in the Blackbelt. From the photos and stories I see from Wilcox County, that place appears to be a mecca for wildlife.
