They do fine. Every now and then I get tickled because mine will run out and stop 50 feet from one I've shot and point. We all get a good laugh out of it. Once I say dead bird fetch it up he picks em up and brings em back. They are extremely versatile. Mine is water trained and could definitely compete in any land or water competition.
