Figured I'd get my answer here after not finding the info on the web. I've seen a mount with the deer licking itself. Anyone seen this, got a pic of it, know what form they are using ? Its not a McKinzie or Van Dykes. I've seen the licking branch mount. Looking for the one licking himself. On the shoulder I might add.  Wall mount.

Most any taxidemist can do that for you as most taxidermist suppliers carry that mannequin.

The form swampy posted is sculpted by Danny Foster of Foster Taxidermy Supply out of Montgomery. It'a a grooming buck ! He makes good quality forms. You can see many shots of that pose here: www.fostertaxidermysupply.com

I see this is more of a side view of the rack. Thought it would be more looking down.
I have real high ceiling in my living room so my deer are real high up on a wall (10 feet). I wonder if they make one looking straight down.

Personally, Id go with a Ben Mears hooking aggressive or a Mckenzie 64D. Mears HA

yeah, thats a pretty mount but not for me with the house I have. I tell you what though, that Foster site has some cool stuff on it. I love the plaques he has for horn or euro mounts.

Artistic, you beat me to it. I was over at Yeagers Taxidermy in Cullman yesterday, and was looking at that exact form he had there. It was from Fosters. I think I am going to hitch a ride with him next time he goes down there. Ever been to Fosters?

Perry's a good guy. Funny as all get out. I had to go pick up a quail for a bobcat mount. I am actually going to put it in the challenge. All I got left is finish and snapping the pics for the challenge. I have hung out with him a few times. We usually wind up running our mouths more than getting any work done.

Jason Cross with Cross-Hair taxidermy in Muscle Shoals mounts a beutiful Deer!!!!!!!! He built the tounge on this one and mounted the other one. I wont take work to anyone but him.
