Pigs must be out by the fork in the river, about a mile from where I'm at, just heard what sounded like a firing squad followed by intermittent shots.

Well I'm finally situated.. Just as I typed that I had a buck come in at 20 workin a scrape... Everything was perfect bow in hand stood up and he bust out... He didn't go far and then walked off out in front of me. He never really spooked and just walked off. God I hope he comes back. I'm not sure if it was the one I seen yesterday or not it was still kinda dark. This hunt hasn't started good. So far I left my harness at the house (I'm still strapped in to my riggers belt) dropped my grunt call and and arrow . I had to work pretty hard to get to this spot I hope it ends on a good note. Good luck gets lay'em down!

Man that's a tough go to start off on, steady the course. I saw a 6-point chasing something about 20 minutes ago about 120yds from where I'm located. Not a lot other than that as of yet.

I had a hunt go like this about 3 weeks ago....I feel for ya, just hang in there. I seem to have the best luck on the days that everything goes horribly wrong.

Rain let up finally, for now at least. Squirrels must be in rut cuz man they are squealing like college girls in Mexico right now. Had about four pigs come by but didn't have a shot.
