Are you serious? You admit you have 'buddies' that take 600 yard shots?
unless you are special forces and have legal arms and training to take that shot....well... I refuse any shot over 175 even though I could drop it at 250.... and have not made a shot over 100 yrds in several years.. I did A Guy in LOUSE at a 1000yds...NutZ..It was the only thing I was ever good AT!

not a friend of mine but i was on the tombigbee river having a few beers on the sandbar this summer when the subject of alligators comes up. a guy that was in the conversation said he shot one over 15ft not 100 yds from where we were standing. said it followed a buzz bait right up to the boat and he shot it between the eyes with his .357 then proceeds to tell me that he shot over 500 hundred gators last year alone. asked him if he had a pic of the big one, said he did but didnt really want to show anyone because he could get in trouble!!

My favorite is the "topper". Whatever you've done, he's done better or bigger. Those are the ones I seem to run into most of the time. I've gotten to where I rarely share hunting or fishing stories with several family members and friends 'cause I know they're going to top my story one way or the other.

I went school with a guy who initials are MG. he told so many lies that we coined the phrase " dude you're MG'in me" when you thought somebody was blowin smoke. He once shot a ten point with his bow. The arrow went through and stuck a 12 lb bass to the bank of a pond. Once he lit brush pile and the flames got so high it burned the power lines in two.
I onced worked with a guy that i would put up against anybody in the art of bull crap. He once shot down a Columbian drug plane with a .22 pistol, caught so many crappie they changed the limit on Wiess lake. Shot 8 deer in one spot. One would flop and another would come see what was goin on till he got 8. One time he brought so much beer back from Florida ( who brings it back) that the truck was squatting. He got pulled over in Center and arrested. In the middle of the night they broke out of jail and got his truck out of impound and hid it in a secret room built out of hay bales in his pawpaws barn. They got bigger the longer you listened. We got to toppin his tales just to see how far he would go.

Few years back went to Ohio with 2 guys that by listening to them they were the best bowhunters around. According to these fellows they get bows given to them by the manufacturer to represent the company. Non guided do it yourself deal. I kill deer and scouting for them for the rest of the time.

I have a friend that lies about things for absolutely no reason. Hell, he worked for me at one point and got fired. Dumbass called me a few days later and was telling me that he walked in there and quit.....
