I don't think he will go to Tejas. Why would he unless to satisfy some eclectic urge or goal. If that's the case, there is nothing can be done to keep him.
Everyone should agree that if you are going to coach college football at the top level, you will find no better place to do that than at Alabama. They will do anything, pay any price and treat you like a god if you are successful. For someone with a bit of a Napoleon complex it's as good as it gets in T-Town.
The more intriguing question is this. If Nick leaves Bama for Texas and a) Bammer slips into mediocracy and b) AU is spanking that hiney routinely (ie the dark days of "fear the thumb". etc) and where c) Texas becomes the next college football dynasty winning NC after NC; Does Alabama leave Nicks statue up? Does Texas erect Nick a statue? Can Texas buy Nicks statue from Bama at a reduced price thus effecting a win-win for acquisition and removal? Thoughts?
