Is the quality still what is was? I lost my yellow handle trapper i've been carrying for the last 8 years, i want to replace it with something simular.

Is the quality still what is was? Not IMO. If you want a great quality Case knife start looking for one made in 1979 or earlier.
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

My yellow handle trapper seems to be great. Cv blades sharp as a razor.

Been collecting for a long time now. I have one that I carry pretty regularly. I haven't noticed any quality issues.

What quality issues are you having with your Case? Never had any to speak of, just wondering if the quality is still there, with everything being exported to china these days i wasnt sure if case got on that wagon or if they are still making good durable knives, thanks for the replies.

I got a sodbuster I carry a lot and it's only a year or so old and it's as sharp as it can be

I have several Case knives that were in my dad's collection. Actually, my mom has them and she wants to sell them. I told her I would help out. I'm pretty sure all of them are new, but we don't know what my dad did with some of the boxes. Gave someone a chance to but them, but never heard back from him, so they're available. And yes, they're are some with the yellow handles. I need to sort through them and take pics. Just thought I'd let y'all know. There are several other various brands that will be available also. I'll try to get some of them on here before Christmas (if I can find time).

I got a mini Copperlock about 3 years ago. It's best Case I've ever owned. Holds an edge good and very easy to sharpen.

Order a Moore Maker. They are made in Texas and are leaps and bounds above case. They are a small company that stiil takes pride in their work. You can get a yellow handle trapper at collectorknives.net for $35. Try one if you dont like it I will buy it from you.
