I did go that far. just went and got me a new hat at the store.looks like i will be without for a while when i break this sucker out at the ncg party we are going to watch the game. i will be cut off by my wife as soon as it hits my head! Oh well be there done that! sorry doc cant pull for them and i have never worn a hat other than a bama one so only one thing to say now. go fsu!!!!!
Hold on now! I didn't say I was pulling for them. And like you, the only thing that covers this shining dome of a head is a Bama or Mississippi State hat (OK, maybe a Drake waterfowl too!). I'm just saying I think they are going to win. It won't be a blow out because FSU has the only defense that has more NFL prospects on it than Alabama. If we couldn't stop em, maybe they can.
I do think Jimbo will do what Alabama didn't to and that is pass! Our wideouts are bigger and better than AU's secondary and we were not effective in using them. FSU won't make that mistake. FSU has wide receivers that are as good if not better than Bama. Expect Jamison to have a hell of a game. But in the end, AU finds a way to pull it out. Especially if Marshall hangs on to the ball and passes effectively.
I may take some heat from fellow fans but as a Bammer, I will admit I think it's pretty cool that the NC trophy will reside within the state of Alabama for 5 years in a row. Just didn't expect AU to be the team to keep the streak going.
Either way, Alabama will end up #2 in the nation. I'll take that a month from national signing day and head into next season with a head of steam. The Aubs may be able to make the Bama train sputter for a moment, but it can't be derailed and will plow forward into New Orleans and into next year at full speed!RTR!
