Shot this 6pt with my bow Saturday morning at 9am on my little 80 acre tract in Madison County. He was by himself out cruising. Walked to within 15 yards and I let it fly, double lung shot, went 50 yards and crashed. His neck was a little swollen and his tarsal glands were black but not matted. He had just a little stink to him. There have been alot of scrapes put down on my property in the last week. I figure the rut is about to be on in the next week to 10 days. This is the 3rd deer I have shot this season out of the "honey hole" tree. I'm truly blessed!
