So last night about 12:30 am me and the wife had just laid down, and my brother and his gf were staying the night so I'm laying there watching tv and I hear a knock I thought it was my lil brother but my wife goes that's at the front door so I get up quietly and get my brother up we had just went to bed like 5 min before and sure enough some thug is knocking on our front door I play it cool and don't say a word my AR is locked cocked and ready to rock and my brother has his xd 45 so we're figuring nobody answers they're fixing to kick the door in my brother goes to look out the window.in the dining room where you can see and sure enough here goes this thug ass off my porch and he heads up to behind my house toward my shop we'll I throw open the door and holler for him to freeze and don't move and I rocket out my back door and by time I get out of my back gate I ve got the red dot square on em but this guys haulin I'm running after him in muck boots and my underwear screaming at the top of my lungs that I'm gonna kill his ass we'll my brother says there in the shop sure enough the lights are on and the door is open well we figure well just corner em so when all this started I tell the wife to call 911 well 911 tells her everybody Is tied up at the moment. I told her to tell me that they better get somebody here cause I'm clearing my shop and shooting anybody in it they then said they'd try to get somebody out here. So we continue on and I'm getting madder by the second so to make em come out I fire a shot in the ground when this happens a pick up truck with no lights on fires up in front of my hours and hauls So the cops show up and he takes one look at this fat boy in muck boots and my underwear with a m4 and chuckles a bit. So we clear the shop nobody there guess my earlier I'm gonna kill any sob I see speech did its job and I can't find anything missing so I come back to the house to put some clothes on and try to calm down the wife who's hysterical Long story short I went today and bought security cameras and now the wife wants another dog which I'm not objected to I just don't have any idea of a loyal protective breed that trains well and will do a good job. I had 1 3years ago when me and her met that was the perfect dog. Hell he was just a mut but he did the job but got killed soon after we met. So my question is anybody have any suggestions on a suitable breed.
