I put all of my deer hunting stuff up, got my turkey vest out, reorganized it, counted up all of my Nitro's to make sure I have plenty (31-3toe).  I broke out my mouth calls and made sure the neighbors knew I was still kicking after the snow storm last week. I made a few mouth calls and pieced together two wingbone yelpers before I called it an afternoon. I am going to try and get the wingbones sanded down tomorrow. With it being nice out today it really got me to feeling turkey season coming. After I watch the new Truth video later this week I should be ready to go.

One of the wingbones is yours. They sound good already and they still have a ton of 5 minute on them right now.
I need to get my shotgun out and pet it a little bit too. I haven't touched it since May.

got my vest out and started getting things organized. i bought a few mouth calls last night at basspro. i think ill go pattern the gun right feb 1st. caught a cool epsiode of turkey thugs the other day....damn i cant wait.

I heard 3 rattle off about 8 times Tuesday morning! Kind of took my mind off of looking for deer. They've been in the same spot all deer season. I hope they are there in a couple of months.
