That 8 pointer I killed Friday afternoon was stinking but he didn't pay any attention to the does in the food plot, he came in and fed. On of the smaller bucks did push a couple does around but nothing serious. This is norther Jackson county. Our deer here usually crank up around 2nd/3rd week December....usually lol them swamp donkeys are funny creatures tho.
Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.

Perhaps the ratios are getting better. On the place I hunt, I've seen a much better buck to doe ratio. Those old boys are going to have to work to get some this season.
Been here long enough to go from "bring 'da pain" to " bring 'da pain meds.

Thanks for your responses and helpful information. Good luck to everyone and please be safe especially those who use climbers, wear your safety harnesses. I lost a friend a few years ago that loved to go 20 ft or more. God bless and take care.
