I have one and love it. i just ordered a scout rail and have the burris scout scope I'm going to slap on it. It's the shorter SS marlin. It's my thick brush/rain gun. I shot a 150lb doe with it this past season, turned every bone/muscle in the neck to pure jello.

I used to be a lifeguard, but some blue kid got me fired.
