Do y'all use the primos buck roar. If so how do y'all do it and when and do y'all have any good results from using it. The same with the can

I've heard it and used it...NutZ...hasn't worked yet...but its in my arsenal...  ...I did kill a pretty buck with the can...though....I'll throw a rock at em if I have too

No buck roar or can for me. However, I have heard wild deer make both sounds.
Horns and a quality grunt call works for me.

I've killed deer useing it but bucks have to be in the right frame of mind.

No first hand experience with the roar.
A good friend of mine turned the can over twice and a 150" ten about ran over him....they just have to be in the perfect frame of mind... I've only ever had younguns react to it.

not a gimmick at all...now how well it works on Al. whitetails I don't know, but I heard a 3.5 year old buck do it no less than 10 times last year during the rut. He had a doe penned down to breed, she was ready, but two 2.5 year old bucks kept trying to approach. Every time they got with in 30 yds he would charge them and roar at em. All happened with in 30 yds of my stand so I heard him loud and clear. I'm pretty sure if a mature buck had been with in hearing distance he would have come running in.
I'm guessing this is a sound that is used a decent amount in areas with healthy mature buck numbers and a good buck to doe ratio. And based on this experience a buck does it when he's trying to keep lesser bucks away from his doe that is ready to breed.

The estrous bleat can is very effective if used during the rut. If you use it at the wrong times, you'll never get good results. It would be the equivelant of blowing your car horn in your driveway at midnight.
With that being said, I used the can to bring a couple of small bucks in last year during the rut. I did not use it until I heard other grunting.

I used it during the rut and called several small bucks in. The only shooter I used it on took off like he was stuck with a hot poker. I've heard several others say they had the same experience. I threw the can down through the woods, never again! I'll stick to hunting near real does during the breeding period, if they make bleats, they'll be real.
