You can still get a great mount out of him. might have to pay a few extra bucks to get a cape for him, but it can be done. Looks like you are having some good luck this season. congrats. rtr!! lol
If you have this ever happens again, I know a young man on the dial a dog list in Pike Road that would have been slobering at the mouth to help you out. His name is Carson Yates.
Back during bow season I hit a pretty good buck and never found it. I found a lot of hair and a little bit of blood. We ended up looking for him for several days but never found him. Yesterday I went walking looking for rubs and scrapes over in the same area I shot my buck and walked right up on his head and backbone. So after almost two months later here is my buck. He wound up having 13 points. Really wish I had found it after I shot but at least I got to keep his rack.
Went back and looked at the footage real close and we have determined that the buck I found was not the same buck that I shot at. The rack has the same type of frame but the one I shot curves up more at the end than the one I found. Couldnt tell exactly how many points the one on video has but I'm pretty confident that it's not the same buck.
