Same field as yesterday afternoon. Saw 13 yesterday so figured I'd try it again. 26 pretty steady 10mph N wind. Gonna try and sit a long time. Hopefully this cold weather has the big boys feeling frisky!

A nice 25 degrees here in W Limestone this am with a N wind at 15-20 on this ridge. All I can say is thank goodness for a Sportsman Condo right now! Had 7 out in the wheat field at daylight but slow since then. Can't blame em if the lay up in this weather!

Seen 4 does and a spike so far. All came out and ate beans from about 7-7:45 then moved off.

Just getting in the shoot house now, 3 pm. I've heard two shots not too far away. Passed in a spike and a few does last night. There must have been around eight or so on the Buck Forage plot when I climbed down after shooting light had passed. Maybe this afternoon will be it. Just heard another shot! Coffee County, near Jack.

Well I had 4 does come out but the turkeys ran them out of the field. First time I've ever seen that....

Just got in my stand....did not think i was going to hunt today, but after going to church and taking the wife out for lunch and by Old Time Pottery low and behold the wind layed down. So I figured i would give my plot at the house they have hammered a shot.
