My dad killed a good one this morning. And I got to experience it with him! Awesome times, and stacks on the 33 years of memories we have.

Congrats to you and your Dad, johnal  I'm hunting in the corner of our CRP this afternoon. I've got an old L shaped foodplot in front of me and to my left; planted pines and white oaks (infested with privet, gum, water oaks, etc) to my left; and a super thick swamp to my right. I'm about 300 yds off of a foodplot where I've gotten a good buck on camera this week - I'm hoping he's bedding back in the swamp and I can catch him before dark! To my left:  In front of me:

Sitting on one of my favorite fields on my family land today. Feels good to have a rifle in my hand. 3 or 4 good bucks in the area hoping one gives me a chance. Field is half standing beans half green field. My left:  My right:

BBD!!! I shot an 8 pt about 4:20 and just found him!!! He's a nice 3 year old (~16" outside spread)...it's been 3 years since I've killed a buck, so I'm a little bit excited! Here's a better pic (than the first one I posted)

BBD!!! I shot an 8 pt about 4:20 and just found him!!! He's a nice 3 year old (~16" outside spread)...it's been 3 years since I've killed a buck, so I'm a little bit excited! Here's a pic  congrats brother.
