My granddaddy's 1918 Model 12 Winchester. He bought it new with his first paycheck when he went to work for the Southern RR in 1919 at the age of 16. I think it and a box of shells was about $20 bucks. It has the 3rd barrel on it and it's a full but is "shot out" and is larger than an improved. I'll give Mr. Robert's model 12 to my son, who he is named after .
