My mother bought this Rem 742 Woodmaster carbine along with the Redfield for my father for their 1st wedding anniversary. I recently got the gun and put the old Redfield back on it. We lost my mom at 53 a couple years ago. She was diagnosed with cancer on opening day of deer season. I took my first deer with this exact setup in 84' and look very much forward to sitting on green fields this season sharing stories with them about their Nana.

I shoot the same exact rifle to this day. it was bought for me when i was 12 years old by my dad and the only rifle ive hunted with.
