Ok, here's a real life scenario. I live in the country and my son has a beagle that we keep up 100% of the time. Some new guys bought the land right behind me to hunt on ( why, I dont know). Say we are out feeding the beagle and he gets out of the pen and plays around the yard with my son. Then, he does what beagles do and walks to the woods behind the house and steps 20 yards onto their property. If it was your property you had just bought without knowing anyone around it, would you shoot the dog?
This is what I fear most about my son having a dog right now, the new landowners know nothing about our area and every direction they shoot will be in the direction of someones home (within 1/10th of a mile). Just seems like a problem waiting to happen. If it does, is there anyone on here willing to pay my bail money
