If your neighbor has livestock, and they get out of the fence and come over on your land......hunting or not. Do you shoot it. A few cows could mess up your hunt. Gonna kill them?
I wouldn't shoot a dog unless I thought it was going to harm me.
Cletus - About the time I think we're all seeing eye to eye on this dog issue somebody goes and says something like this. Do you think your neighbor really lets his cows roam around on purpose? I had a goat a couple years ago that roamed around when it got out and ended up at my good neighbors house. He called and said it was eating his wifes flowers she planted. Once a goat starts it's hard to break it much like a dog. I asked him if he wanted to shoot it or if he wanted me to. I ended up penning it up to sell. I liked this goat and it was like a family pet but my neighbor is much more important than the goat or the dog and the animal crossed the line by repeatedly getting out and roaming around. Isn't this how roaming dogs should be handled?
