I've killed several dogs for running our cattle. I don't mean out in the pasture, I mean running our cattle to the point that the cows are fatigued and/or running them through a fence. Some have had collars, some haven't. They bother the cows, they get shot. Simple as that.
The only other dog I have killed was not running cattle, but it charged me growling and barking in the middle of our largest hay field.
To my knowledge I've never killed a hunting dog even though I've had them run by my stand.
I doubt Hollywuds little dog was causing too much of a problem wherever it was when it was shot, but there are folks who move out in the country and let their big dogs run wild too. When your big dog starts running peoples livestock, it's gonna get shot. People need to understand that too.
pretty much the same here , i like hunting dogs . they bring other peoples deer to me . lol
