I have 40 acres where I live so does a lot of other people where I live. I have and do keep my dogs on my property with a fence they don't get off my property. I have in the past and sure I will in the future have dogs come on to my property and kill chickens tear up my stuff and generally be a pain in my rear end. This has not and will not be tolerated on my property. If you love your dog keep them on your property or they may not come home one day. It is insane to have an animal that you claim to love but you let it roam all over the country. To have enough land so your dog never gets off your property without a fence you would have to have a lot of land.
