I own 40 acres here where I live. I'm not keeping my dogs in a fence or on a chain. That's why I bought 40 acres. They have plenty of room to play.
I understand that hollywud but a lot of people by a 1/2 acre to 1 acre house lots in the country and think the surrounding woods is their pets park. Big difference there then actually owning enough land that your dogs arent running all over other peoples.
