With the 700LA you can do anything that you want. The only restriction is going to be magazine length! I would recommend 3 big .30s. .300 WBY throated short, .300 WM or a .300 WSM throated to put a Berger 210 VDLs Bearing Surface/Boat Tail junction at the NK/Shoulder junction of the case. So you could use the extra magazine length and case capacity. The .300 WSM with the correct throat and a 28� barrel will run the 210s right about 2900 fps. Which is more than enough medicine to take out Whitetail at 1,000.
Just sale the original bolt minus the firing mechanism for $125.00 and buy yourself a PT&G Bolt with the Magnum bolt face.
