When I originally purchased my Lone Wolf climber back in 2006 it was the Sit & Climb version. It was very comfortable, but with the way the seat is made, I couldn't sit with my bow in my lap. So before the next season I ordered the Alpa Hand Climber top for it. It has served me well. But since I hurt my neck and back, it has become very uncomfortable for me to sit in for periods of more than 2 hours. I used to hunt out of Ol' Man stands years ago and always loved the net seat. I hunted out of my buddy Emmit's Ol' Man a couple of times this week and told him how much I missed the net seat.

I mentioned about possibly removing the seat from my Sit & Climb top and adding a net. He told me to bring it today. He showed up with some net material and we modified it at lunch. I'm giving it a test run this afternoon. Damn this Lone Wolf is shonuff comfortable and stealthy now. thumbup

I'm gonna have to add that to mine.

I actually sat in an old man for the first time yesterday with the foot rest. I stayed still for the longest time due to being comfortable.

I just learned of this place earlier. May have been posted on aldeer.

If I would've know about those I would've had one on it before the season started. The net seat makes it sit like a totally different stand now. It's also easier to set up and pack than with the Sit & Climb seat. I've got a Summit Viper and an API bowhunter also. The Summit is the most comfortable stand I own, but because it doesn't fold flat, it's a pain to pack in and out. The API packs easy and is flat enough, but it is heavy as hell. The Lone Wolf weighs 5 or 6# less and that makes a world of difference.

The Lone Wolf is my hit and run stand. You can't really tell it in the pic, but I have the accessory bag on it. With it and my HSS Pro Series vest with all of it's pockets, I don't have to carry a fanny pack. All I have to do is throw the stand on my back and grab my bow. I've had some of my best success slipping into an area, looking for fresh sign and then climbing. That's how I do my scouting. I never get out and just stomp around looking.

I got one for my API shootn star this year and love it. I'll give it 7 out of 10 for comfort, but a 10/10 on how much mor portable it makes the stand, and I like how it slides out od the way silently if I stand up to shoot.

As for the comfort . When I first get up in the tree I usually don't have my fleece on so I fold it and slide it between the top and bottom seat nets, that makes it super comfortable.

I'm glad you like the hazmore seat...wish you wouldve seen jughead post about it 3 or 4 years ago and spared you some pain.

That doesn't look like it will be as comfortable as the net.

- have several ol man climbers and love them. Just aquired another but the net is so tight it wnt spread out and is not very comfortable. Anybody know the best way to stretch one out???? The older ragged saggy nets are hard to beat!!!!
