failed recovery on my hog. I found the arrow, it was bloody on the business end for 5" and the pig broke off the broadhead and another 4" of the arrow inside. Despite all that, there was only a small blood trail that lasted about 10 feet from where the arrow broke off. I knew I hit a little high, but thought it still was in the vittles. I'm bummed, hate losing an animal!!

saw two does this evening in a small pine plot I mixed up. sitting in ground blind and they came all the way within 10 yards. its pretty neat to hear them rip the grass out of the ground. didn't shoot because they kept looking behind them and I have a big buck on camera over there. ready to get the smoke pole out.
