Dear God!... Those were the best ribeyes I have ever eaten, anywhere and to be honest they weren't the best cut steaks. I was a little disappointed when I purchased them.
I applied some Peppertree Steak Rub and Kosher Salt then seared them for 90 seconds per side at 750 degrees. Then I let them rest while the temp in the EGG fell to 375. I then hooked one up to my wireless thermometer and set it to alarm at 135.
The unbelievable thing was after eating the steak I had a pool of juices left in the plate. My wife told me it was the best steak I have ever cooked. I agree. Chicken quarters are tomorrow.

How much did your wood cost for the table?

It was about $90 for all treated lumber, screws, and cement paver stone.
It is a simple plan based off the one BGE website puts out. I can give you dimensions if you want to go that route. One thing is for sure it is heavy and will last forever.

I have those same plans I believe. Just curious about the cost. Looks good though!

Congrats.on the purchase Rebelman. I have the same setup, treated lumber and paver stone. I would suggest adding some casters to the stand just in case you decide to move it around. Cuz that stand is about as heavy as the egg.haha

Congrats.on the purchase Rebelman. I have the same setup, treated lumber and paver stone. I would suggest adding some casters to the stand just in case you decide to move it around. Cuz that stand is about as heavy as the egg.haha I drilled 3/8ths inch hole is the bottom of the 4 by 4's so hopefully I can insert them by lifting up a corner one by one. Otherwise, it is going to be a chore to install them.

 I'm going to let the table dry for a couple of days or so before I finish it out with a router and sander. The wood was dripping wet when I built it. I have a couple of ribeyes to throw on it tonight. Finally got around to finishing this project.
