What has happened to country music. The trash they sing now is no more country than obama. I bet hip-hop ediots are mad that country music sounds like them. These people wouldnt know a lytard knot from a slip knot.

There is a oldies station in jackson and one in flomington. There is a few real country singers left but not many. Most of them spend ro much time being cool and cute. Most of it sounds like something playing in prichard.

I agree. Country radio these days and what you see on TV isnt country at all! No steel guitar...no fiddle and if there is by chance its a small cameo peice but not during th whole song. Its sad. Its all pop rock and sounds like 80s music with a little bit tasteless hip hop blended in.
I use to like Paisley but he has sold out along with almost all of the rest of mainstream.
During last nights awards they finally gave George Jones a full slot for a song that they wouldnt years ago when he released teh song Choices...too bad this time he was dead and the two singers that stood up for him last time had to sing his song.

In our area 105.7 FM does a good job with older country songs. Allen Jackson Murder on Music Row kinda sums it up.
