Yup, same here. I've had to put lit smokes down to shoot deer with a bow at under 20yds before. They don't have a clue.
I was actually speaking of wood/leaf/pine straw smoke.
I don't get that train of thought, I can smell the cigarette smoke a hundred yards away, I'm sure deer smell it. They see the movement, smell it on you after the fact too.
They choose to ignore it sometimes maybe, but mask your scent? No way.
