First, I have 3 gunslingers and absolutely love them.
However, please check the seat and make sure it is not dry rotted before climbing 40' up a pine tree. I took my stands to Canvas Products in Mobile and had new padded seats added after 2 of mine dry rotted.
Just so nobody gets their feelings hurt.....I have no clue as to the shape of the stand in this thread. I'm just issuing a safety warning as I almost had a bad bad experience.

270wsm I could see where the seat being dry rotten could b dangerous. But this 1 is still in good shape. Not even faded yet. Never been left out side other than a few week. And always stored in the garage

I seen the gunslinger in person last night and the seat looks like new. I've never seen one before so I checked it out. Pretty neat stand if you like facing the tree.
