Nothing, because nothing can mask your scent to a deer. If your scent plume gets to their nose their going to smell you. Save your money on gimmicks, hunt the wind and use thermals to your advantage. It's all we can do. Deer have better noses than dogs, and drug dogs can find dope wrapped in plactic, submerged in a gas tank. How in the hell can you defeat that?

Odornix. Made in Athens, AL. This stuff will take the stink off a skunk. Seriously, It makes you smell like nothing. Plus, it works great or pet beds, etc.

Also, they do not charge extra for the hunting version, which is the odorless spray.

Locally made product that works. This is they way our economy is suppose to work.

It smells like nothing to you, a human, with one of the worst smellers in the world. Trust me it ain't going to work on a deer.

Nothing will ever completely eliminate your scent. But there are certain things you can do to give yourself a better chance. I am not hunting 2 yr old bucks. I am hunting 5-6 yr olds. Smart deer. Sometimes all I need is 1-2 additional seconds for them to take a few more steps.

Hunting the wind is great, but mature deer walk into the wind a majority of the time they are on their feet, except during the rut. So, you are not seeing these big deer or even getting a chance to see them due to their ability to scent check an area from over 200 yds away.

Anything and I mean anything I can do to reduce the scent I have is worth it.

Saw a post on a board last night, can't remember which one but might have been our next door neighbors to the north. Anyway, this guy was saying he stores his hunting clothes in a sack of corn! Said it serves as a cover scent and attractant all in one. 'Bout what I'd expect from those folks up there.

Take plastic storage container big enough for huntin stuff to fit in. Cut some fresh pine tree limbs with lots of needles and mix them in with cloths and close them up few weeks before huntin season. Might store them in there between hunts with new pine limbs. Just a thought

I used to go the trouble of the bags with pine needles etc.

Now I look at it like spraying deodorant on a turd. You just cant get rid of the smell.

I don't get that train of thought, I can smell the cigarette smoke a hundred yards away, I'm sure deer smell it. They see the movement, smell it on you after the fact too.

They choose to ignore it sometimes maybe, but mask your scent? No way.

you can waste your money on scent blockers that don't work or you can just stay downwind. The scent blockers are 99% water and the 1% unknown. deer will smell you no matter what you put on.
