Any of you lower AL guys know where Smith Lake is? The on the AL river, not the one up here?
I hunted Woodies down there about 2 decades ago. I have never seen so many wood ducks in my life. Yep, south end of Monroe County. Unfortunately it's private and can't be accessed from the river except in flooded conditions. It's been so long ago that I don't remember much about it, but the river must have been up because we accessed it from the river.
