I went today and saw 3. A spotted fawn doe and buck. Of course the fawn was the only one in range

Here's the story DC,
This was the first time I have stepped foot on this property.. one of my best friends and fishing partner has owned this land for around 4 years now and been trying to get me to come bowhunt but with work and school there hasnt been much of a chance to get out there. I knew there were a lot of deer on this propery and some monster bucks but had no idea that there were that many nannies on the land. They have only shot big bucks the last couple years and now the nannies have taken over. So on Tuesday afternoon I got off work at 1 and my buddy called and asked if I wanted to come hunt and I'm glad I did. I drove home and got my clothes and bow and headed his way. We got settled in the stand by around 2:30-2:45. Everything was slow until around 4:45 when I had a doe and fawn come out on the field. A little later I received a text from my buddy saying he had just smoked a doe. The doe and fawn I was watching fed off on the other side of the field. It wasnt 2 mins later a group of 6 does and a spike came out about 50 yards. The deer fed around for 10 mins or so and crossed the road that splits the field in half..the road was 40 yards from my stand. The deer continued to feed in my direction and held between the road and 30 yards. It was then somewhere between 5:45 and 5:50 when the biggest doe finally gave me a broadside shot. I quickly ranged her and it was 33.5 yards. I drew and settled the pin on her and let the rage fly as she ran off I could see my arrow hanging out of her side. She ran about 40 yards crashed and got back up. I texted my buddy and gathered my things and got down and just looked for blood in the field to see what kind of blood I had because I knew with no pass through it may be a difficult track job. My buddy arrived 10mins or so later with his deer and we waited till 6:30 to start looking for her. We trailed her for around 40 mins with good blood everywhere and then it was like you flipped the switch. I told him lets come back early in the morning and look for her she's dead somewhere close. I knew it was a good enough shot she was dead but not getting a pass through worried me on finding her. We met and had breakfast the next morning and went and looked for her, On the way in we seen several does and 3 rack bucks already on the fields. We went to our last blood and picked back up on the trail following it a lil further. After 30 mins or so of looking we just couldnt find any more blood so we decided to spread out and walk parallel to the road she was following. After walking about 150 yards with no luck my hopes of finding her were at rock bottom but we decided to make one more pass a little further apart and within 50 yards of turning around I heard my buddy hollar. I ran to where he was and there she was. She ended up weighing 120lbs.First deer i've killed with a bow in several years.

Good story and great looking deer! Sounds like a good tracking job too.
