I would start with the thickest area on the property and find some sign where they are coming out of it. Hang a stand and hunt when the wind is favorable. (It may swirl every 5 minutes some days) Hunt the place very few times a year. Three or four times with good scouting will produce usually. The main thing this time of year is to hunt a predominant wind direction, don't overhunt an area, and sit still. A lot of the deer are nocturnal and when they do move in legal shooting time, they will stop and smell the air for minutes and can be very nervous, especially anything over 2.5 years old. I watched some the other day in the bottom of a hollow look like statues because they were so nervous and wanted to check things out before moving into a feeding area. Good luck.
