It is bull that they are still working and can ticket the taxpayers but that the land that we pay taxes to keep open is closed. We pay their salaries to help advance and preserve wildlife and for the land they patrol. PERIOD! Did they quit taking taxes from my paychecks when the Government (SHUTDOWN) ?? No. I mean no disrespect towards the preservation officers.

I agree. If federal Wardens are still able to work and patrol it then what need is there for it to be closed??? Its not a business that needs workers to perform functions and the ones needed to patrol it are still available.
