Remington 742 you can kill a deer out to 600 yds with it Yep, that's why it's used so much in long range competition.

Remington 742 you can kill a deer out to 600 yds with it Yep, that's why it's used so much in long range competition. Lol IMA get one for my next 1000yd rifle and put a BSA scope on it.

Looks just like mine lol accept mine is a baby cousin 7mm-08 I would like a shorter action fine. I have a nice Kahles 2-7X36 CL that would work perfect on a short action. It was too short for my 270.

dont have a 50 caliber. just have always wanted to shoot a deer with a 338 lapua. i kill plenty of deer every year so i dont really worry about meat loss. i quess i could always shootem in the head! LOL
