Hunted with dogs early in my life. There were some good memories and very enjoyable hunting.

They have all raised their kids dog hunting and also stand hunting and the kids are one of the main reasons they dog hunt. It is a great way to spend time with them without having to stay on them about sitting still and being quiet.

I know alot of dog hunters deliberatly turn loose on private land and have no respect for people or property but no way are they all like that. I bet most property owners have more trespassers still hunting than dogs and don't even know it.

You are right dogs can't read therefore their owners should care enough about their animals well being, to refuse to turn them loose if the land is too small or narrow or whatever the case may be to have a way to stop them from crossing a line. And heck no theu do t go onto private property to catch their dogs they wait to aee what the dogs run out of the private property.

Nope, grew up hunting dogs, didn't know there was any other way back in the day.
If it was legal to shoot tresspassers I doubt you would see many kids hunting near lines with out an adult, or many adults hunting near lines
Aint that the truth..

I think at the very least there should be a acreage restriction for running dogs on. I hunted next to a guy who had about 150 acres and ran deer dogs.. Guess where the dogs went after they quickly covered the 150 acres.. and guess where the hunters went who had the dogs... right onto the neighboring property "looking for his dogs".
