Yeeep.. Know exactly where it happened to me.... Shell Station on Acton road....

Really? When was this? Someone steal your number at the pump?

I've bought gas at that station many times.

They were buying those prepaid phones... The pattern started in Georgia... Then went to Florida..Then up to South Carolina...

My phone rang one day at work..Didn't recognize the number... So I didn't answer it... Went to get lunch at Subway. Card denied.. I said run it again..Card denied... I knew then something was wrong... Paid cash.. Called my Credit Union and they said my account had been shut down by the fraud department... That was the number calling me that I did not recognize...

Anyway... Called the Fraud Dept. and talked to them and that is when they told me there was suspicious activity on my card.. Took four months and a new card but it got corrected...

For educational purposes, how exactly did they get stolen? Did the steel it out of your wallet, car or home? Or is there some type of new scam out there we need to know about? It just odd that 3 cards around you got stoled within a week. My wife and I both use debit cards and def don't want to end up in the sane situation. Glad you got it worked out.

They got the Credit Card Numbers, not the Cards, correct?
