What if a young kid, let's say 14-17 was trespassing on your land, would you still be in favor of shooting someone?

I say no but would like a rule where if your dogs got caught on someone else's land the owner the dogs would be fined $1000 That would hopefully make it more important to catch dogs rather than just accidentally letting them get across the road and continue to run half the county. Got no prob with dogs or dog hinting do have a problem with lazy arse disrespectful dog hunters that look at you like you are bothering them when you take the time to return their dogs whenb you catch them. Also have a problem with jack wagons who leave dogs on the road when season is over to fend for themselves or help someone takes them in.

If it was legal to shoot tresspassers I doubt you would see many kids hunting near lines with out an adult, or many adults hunting near lines

Folks that hunt like this are not dog hunters. They would hunt illegal whichever way they choose to hunt.

Although I don't agree with the technique, I do not believe in punishing hunters that do.

No...If everything was banned that someone didn't like, there would be nothing left to ban.

No.

I've had many good days of hunting screwed up by dogs. I'm in favor of handling it myself and let the government worry about more important things like corn piles.

But the DCNR made sure thats what happened to our area about 10-11 years ago. My dad and about 40 of his buddies gave up deer hunting because of it and that was the worst part.

Let 'em run 'em......ONLY IF when they cross onto private property that is not part of the land they are supposed to be on they become fair game.

Shelby co - YES
State wide - NO

I'm sure there are some decent law abiding dog hunters out there, but I dang sure haven't met one.

As much as I despise deer dogs I can not agree with banning it . It would just lead to more bans . That would lead to hunting being banned then guns being banned since hunting would be illegal.
