yep ,,, why i posted my so called bad/unethical advice on another topic .

So what does taking bad/unethical shots have to do with this thread or Bfred's post? I assume you are referring to your post on taking highly marginal shots the other day.
Sure hope you're not trying to say Troy takes bad/unethical shots because of his "three seconds" comment. Never met the man but I bet he "out grew" that kind of behavior when he was a much, much younger man.

like this ,,, you get a good shot on a good buck take it . it could be you never see that deer again . to often have i heard , well i thought ,,,,,,,, why have a rifle that'll shot 1" groups but wont shoot through a three inch gap in the trees ? why has a deer got to be standing broadsided , what wrong with shooting him in the hind quarter if you have enough gun and the right bullet . shooting at running deer aint that big a deal for me .

when i posted that i gave ever one the benefit of the doult that they had a little common sense . i guess some don't .

Deer hunting will never get better in Alabama until the state makes it illegal to take a bad shot.

I dont totally agree with this.I killed a deer last year with 4 other ones standing around. No deer ate in that spot for the rest of the year. The oats and peas grew waist high in that little area.

i've seen bucks scrape blood out of scrapes , seen deer smell fresh gut piles .

i've killed many does in groups before i just set there and wait on a daughter or sister to come back if i have the time and kill her .

if i'm in a green field i kill the first "doe" that comes out if i'm doe hunting . i never deer hunt i either doe hunt or buck hunt . never wait for a green field to fill up with deer and shoot .

in late Jan. if i kill a doe in the morning i'll hunt over that doe as long as i can .
