It may take a little extra effort to get the tune right but when you do get it right don't shoot for group's...they will stack on top of each other. I was sold on that front of center theory too and very skeptical, but they work well. And once they are tuned correctly the added weight in the back acts like a hammer driving a nail! The penetration is great... Heavier FOC is just easier to tune. That's because the nu fletch add entirely too much weight to the back of an arrow. The same principal as to why the heavier lighted nocks don't shoot as well as a conventional nocks.
An arrow, especially with a broadhead, needs more weight on the front end than the back end to fly correctly and consistently and also to penetrate properly.
Read up on FOC (front of center) and you'll see why you are having problems with the nu fletch.
IMO- if I didn't fletch my own arrows then I'd pay someone else to do it or simply buy new fletched arrow before I would shoot nu fletch.
