I would like a shorter action fine. I have a nice Kahles 2-7X36 CL that would work perfect on a short action. It was too short for my 270.

rem 700 xcr tatical 338 lapua!!! thats what im going to hunt with this year! 300 gr berger hunting vlds at 2800fps.

dont have a 50 caliber. just have always wanted to shoot a deer with a 338 lapua. i kill plenty of deer every year so i dont really worry about meat loss. i quess i could always shootem in the head! LOL
